Blue Agave

Hey all!

I want to make a tequila old fashioned because I have some extra after making the morgenthaler eggnog recipe. I wanted to make an agave syrup and bought this. (blue agave). The ingredients on the back say organic agave syrup. Will this work? Thanks.
