Should Aperol be refrigerated?

I made Aperol spritz today for the first time ever (they were great). But I’m finding mixed information online regarding whether or not it should be refrigerated. Some say yes as it’s less than 15% alcohol. Some say no since it’s not wine based and has sugar. What’s the more popular opinion?
