Need help with a pumpkin spice rimming syrup
I recently had a pumpkin spice martini at a restaurant. The drink was good so I asked the bartender for the recipe.
What I failed to ask was what was on the rim of the glass. It was not just sugar and spice stuck to the side like I would with other drinks but somehow a candy-like consistency, not runny but sticky, and held to the glass. I could feel grains of sugar and spice as if in a paste.
Anyone know what I'm talking about? Any help making it would be appreciated.
