REQUEST: Holiday Cocktails

I was hoping to gather from some of you fine folks, ideas for a Holiday Cocktail. Every year I try to find a new cocktail to bring to the In-laws for Christmas.

Last year I did a hot buttered rum that was not terribly popular, and the bad news is I found out about it this afternoon. This leaves me 3 weeks to find and perfect a new (to us) Christmas cocktail.

I'd prefer to avoid nogs, but if you have a good one let me know, and we've done mulled wine to death.
